I hate insurance! It took me just over an hour today to get new insurance... granted we will now save $57/mo so it was worth it. Ok and how many times can a kid poop? Daniel had like 6 poopy diapers today, all of which he took off to show me! It has been one of those days!

Dan's Shout-Out to his new cousins!!!!

Mark's sister Sarah and her husband had twins in October and Daneil loves seeing pictures of them and here I was able to get him to say hi to them on camera and it cracks me up to watch this. This is how Daniel is ALL DAY LONG! Most of the time that is a good thing, like on this day...but some days...well...

So here are a few more pictures of our summer. At the top, we went to Zion's National Park and hiked the narrows. Daniel had so much fun, we carried him in our baby backpack and he got to throw rocks into the river. It is a beautiful canyon. If anyone wants an idea for a cheap vacation that is a good one. Then the second picture I had to add because that is what Daniel looked like all summer long! He was only half dressed and always had food or mud on his face. Too cute right? I love it. And lastly that is a picture from Mark's graduation. He graduated with his BS in Mechanical Engineering. He is working for a firm in Idaho Falls called ES2 and the company is great. Now we are preparing for the holidays and can't wait to see all of our friends and family. Merry Christmas!!!

Here we have Daniel this summer when we went boating. I have wanted to put this picture up for a while. My dad sold his boat this year so we were excited to go out on it for the last time! Daniel loves to drive anything. He didn't ever want to hop in the water, he was just fine manning the stearing wheel.

So it begins...

Ok so we are moved into our new house, our internet is now working after this being our 4th month here. And we have found our camera. So I will be posting more now for sure!

OK, so I haven't figured out how to put a video on here from our video camera so Mark will have to help me soon. Just as an update, we have started the new semester and Mark will be working more so we are excited for the extra income. This weekend we are attending Mark's cousin's wedding reception in Idaho Falls and then Justin and Courtney are blessing their baby in church on Sunday so we will have a lot of family in town. Time to clean house! Speaking of which... gotta go.

After a long absence...

Today we did a little spring cleaning and boy did our apartment need it! It is the end of the semester and with that there is always mixed emotions. We are always happy to have Mark get a break from school but we are always sad to see friends move away. Mark now has one more semester left and he recieved his official job offer the other day and we are now looking for a house to buy in this area. He already works for the company (ES2) as a drafter but he will be an engineer now.
It kinda stinks that now that we will be moving in the next 6mo. my brother and his wife and little girl are moving in the apartment behind us. Just when they get closer we have to move away!!! Tonight there is an open gym and movie at their gymnatics and we are going. So we will take some video and have some good shots to show in the next few days. Congrats to everyone who graduated and to all who are still in school we are glad because we want you around longer!!!

No Camera!!!

Sorry no new pictures yet, we can't seem to find our camera! Guess what we are going to buy with our tax return? Eh? Well the news lately is that I have started a new tradition. A couple of weeks ago I decided I wanted to "hang out" more with friends. I believe that girls need each other, and they need to get out of their house, away from their kids and yes husband too for just a few hours a week. Last week we went to "27 Dresses"- so fun! and this week we went to "Enchanted"- that movie cracks me up!!! Next time we will be going to a restaurant here in town for drinks and dessert. Having quality girl time is priceless. Don't get me wrong here...I enjoy my dates with Mark more, but it is still nice to talk about periods and ugly hairdoos and birthcontrol with someone who is just as interested in the conversation as you! Everything in moderation right? Since I am very excited for Spring I also included a little video from a few years ago when Mark and I had only been married a year. Yes that is Mark and yes that is dirt!If anyone is interested in "Potato Skiing" just let me know!!!

This is the face of Mischief

Alright I have to tell you what happened on Sunday! We sat down for Sacrament Meeting with program in hand, I look at the ward spotlight of some friends of ours. It had a picture of the two of them (Rachel Horrocks-one of my counselors when I was R.S. Pres) and it had a list of questions they answers...Where are you from...Whats you favorite activity...and my favorite-What will make you smile no matter what the circumstances. Their answer?-"We love watching all the little children during church, especially Daniel Babcock he is hilarious!" We just laughed and laughed-our little man is quite the infamous little child and church!

Alexis Dee Packard

We got our first little niece last Wednesday. She is so cute! Her name is Alexis Dee Packard, she weighed 6lbs 3oz and I think she was 18" long. Courtney did an amazing job bringing her into the world. I went and visited them in the hospital that morning and I was too excited to shower so I arived a little frumpy looking. So wouldn't ya know Courtney looked better than I did! Not a hair was out of place. Good for you Court! We love our new addition to the family. She is the first girl on my side of the family in 12 years, so neadless to say we are pretty excited. Although Daniel doesn't know what to think of her yet, he gives her "loves" when he sees her. It is a good thing he has someone to share the spotlight with now. He is a little spoiled already.
